The alternative tour of Causewayhead, and Chapel Street saw Weeks dressed in tour guides outfit and accompanied by Whitford as her assistant leading a group of amused attendees along a story trail.
Employing an experimental and humorous approach to the site of performance and utilising a methodology in making and delivering the work which fused numerous influences and strategies such as psychogeography, mythography and historical research Weeks and Whitford opened doors onto the unknown and unrecorded nooks and crannies of Penzance and its people. The towns stories, characters and atmosphere were animated for the audience who gained an insight into the character of the town and what live art might be in relation to that character.
The work was self-reflexive in that it regarded the performer as a similarly multiplicitous site where fact and fiction merge and where narrative is generated.
